We are looking for Ride Leaders who can ride with our fastest kids, our slowest kids, and every one in between. Even if you are new to mountain biking but want to help, we will get you trained and ready to lead!
Once you sign up you will receive an email inviting you to the NICA "Pit Zone" where you can become a certified Level 1 or Level 2 Ride Leader. New and returning Ride Leaders must be at least Level 1 certified in the Pit Zone to ride with the team.

Adult Ride Leaders are certified through NICA to lead groups of student riders at every practice. There is a pace for everyone, adults and kids. To lead a ride you need a Level 2 certification. If you simply want to come ride "sweep" and tag along as an adult, you will still need a Level 1 certification - which is basically a participation agreement through NICA.
NOTE: If there are not enough Adult Ride Leaders at practice for every group of 10 or so, then practice has to be canceled for the day. We NEED you to come and ride with these awesome kids on our awesome trails. |
