This team simply cannot function without great parental support, volunteers and certified ride leaders and coaches. It's a team!
There are plenty of ways to volunteer from being a certified level 2 NICA Ride Leader, a level 1 adult ride sweep, or not riding a bike at all ever on one of several team committees.

Volunteer at Team Events, Races & Parties
Several team committees help keep everything running for the team. They need help both on the committees, and/or single time volunteer duties per event.

The league asks/expects parents to volunteer a minimum number of hours at the races (whenever your student is not racing). Every hour we spend volunteering for the league at races gives the team accumulated points. Team awards are super fun at the podium! As a personal bonus, when you reach a certain number of volunteer hours you get a pretty sweet league hat. It's a classy (and practical) badge of honor!
VOLUNTEER BY PEDALING AT PRACTICES (Ride Leaders Needed)!

We are looking for Ride Leaders who can ride with our fastest kids, our slowest kids, and every one in between. Even if you are new to mountain biking but want to help, we will get you trained and ready to lead!
Once you sign up you will receive an email inviting you to the NICA "Pit Zone" where you can become a certified Level 1 or Level 2 Ride Leader. New and returning Ride Leaders must be at least Level 1 certified in the Pit Zone to ride with the team. |
